The Lefant M3 brings the conveniences of a full station, with dust emptying, mop washing and drying, to a compact robot that suits flats and smaller homes. Two details stand out from the listing. Its dock dries mops with cool air, which Lefant says avoids heat deforming them, and it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, while most robots on this site insist on 2.4GHz only. That makes setup simpler on modern routers.

In its favour
- Compact base tucks under cabinets, and still empties into a 3.2 L bag for up to 90 days.
- Washes mops with 45°C water and dries them with cool air, according to Lefant.
- Dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, useful in flats with crowded networks.
Good to know
- The listing does not give the base station's height or width in cm, so measure your cabinet gap carefully.
- A washing dock needs water tanks refilled and emptied by hand.
Our take
Station details
The dock empties the robot into a 3.2 L dust bag rated for up to 90 days. It washes the mop with 45° hot water to dissolve grease, then dries it with gentle cool air. The water tank is quoted as enough for uninterrupted mopping across 220 m².
Lefant does not say whether the mop is a rotating pad or a flat cloth, and the dock's height and width are not given, so measure before you buy if it needs to fit under a cabinet.
Suction, battery and noise
Suction is listed at 12,000 Pa, aimed at embedded dirt and pet hair on carpets, rugs and hardwood. A 5,200 mAh battery is rated for up to 220 minutes at quiet levels, with 30% faster charging and off-peak scheduling. That runtime is long for a compact robot and comfortably covers most flats in one go.
Navigation and avoidance
360° LiDAR maps the home quickly and creates multi-level maps automatically. Freemove Tech 3.0 handles obstacle avoidance for furniture, cords, toys and chair legs, and the robot avoids stairs and tight spaces. Lefant describes the robot as 11 inches wide, slim enough to pass under furniture. Control is through the app, Alexa or a smartwatch. Note that the listing switches between the names M3 and M3 Max, so check the model on the box.
M3 against similar docks
The eufy X10 Pro Omni has a fuller-featured station with heated drying and a stated 12 mm mop lift, but 8,000 Pa. The Roomba 505 Combo adds pet waste avoidance with an AutoWash dock. The M3 offers more suction and a longer runtime than both on paper.
Verdict
Choose the Lefant M3 if you want mop washing and self-emptying in a smaller home, a long runtime and painless Wi-Fi setup. If you want a documented mop lift for rugs, the eufy X10 Pro Omni explains its hardware better. If pet accidents are a worry, the Roomba 505 Combo recognises pet waste and is worth the extra space.
