Our take
Base and emptying
After each run the robot empties its dust container into the 4 L base, which Proscenic rates for up to 90 days. Because it is bagless there are no spare bags to buy, and the container can be washed to keep odours down. The robot's own dustbin is small at 300 ml, so the base does the heavy lifting between runs.
Suction and mopping
A brushless motor delivers up to 10,000 Pa, with automatic carpet boost to reach deeper into fibres. Proscenic says quiet mode operates as low as 65 dB, while the spec table lists 60 dB.
Mopping happens alongside vacuuming from a 200 ml water tank with three water levels, paired with three suction levels. Matrix Cleaning Mode takes a double pass over the floor for stubborn marks. There is no stated mop lift for carpet, so fence off rugs when mopping.
Navigation and maps
360° LiDAR scans the home four times faster, according to Proscenic, and smart obstacle avoidance handles barriers, white walls and stairs. Up to five maps can be stored and edited, so each floor of a house can have its own settings. No-go zones work well around pet bowls, and rectangle cleaning lets you target spots such as under the dining table. When the battery drops below 15%, the robot recharges and resumes. Proscenic includes a spare HEPA filter, side brush and mop pad and lists a two-year warranty.
Against other self-emptying picks
The Lefant M2 Pro is also bagless for 90 days but has 6,000 Pa and 140 minutes. The Xiaomi H40 uses a bagged 4 L base and offers better hair handling, but runs for 100 minutes. The Q20Plus leads both on runtime.
Verdict
The Q20Plus suits larger flats and houses on several floors where a long runtime and a bagless base matter more than mop washing. If you want hair-tangle protection for long-haired pets, the Xiaomi H40 describes it in more detail. If a bagged option appeals for allergies, the Lefant M2 Pro lets you switch between both modes.
