The Shark Matrix Plus AV2610WA is a carpet-friendly robot that vacuums and mops at the same time, and empties into a bagless base for up to 60 days. It suits pet owners with a mix of carpet and hard floor who want allergen control and no bags to buy. The defining feature is Matrix Clean, a grid pattern that covers dirty areas with multiple passes. Its feature list closely matches the AV2613WA, so availability often decides between them.

Our take
Grid cleaning and edges
Matrix Clean crosses the floor in a precise grid, and Shark claims 30% better carpet cleaning compared with a single pass by its RV2610WD on level loop carpet with sand. CleanEdge Detect uses air blasts and corner recognition to pull debris out from edges, which Shark says improves edge cleaning by 50% when the feature is on. Together, they make up for the lack of a published suction figure.
Sonic mopping
The mop vibrates to scrub hard floors 100 times a minute, and Matrix Mop concentrates on stains in zones you choose in the app, with a claimed 50% improvement in stain removal.
The base only empties debris. It does not wash or dry the pads, so expect to rinse the two reusable microfibre pads by hand. A starter bottle of cleaning solution is included.
Base, filter and battery
The XL self-empty base is bagless and holds up to 60 days of debris. True HEPA filtration traps 99.97% of dust and allergens down to 0.3 microns in the base, which helps if anyone at home has allergies. The self-cleaning brushroll resists hair wrap on carpet and hardwood. 360° LiDAR maps the home and detects objects day or night. Battery life is listed at 110 minutes, with recharge and resume for larger homes.
Matrix Plus against mid-range docks
The eufy X10 Pro Omni washes and dries its pads at the station and states 8,000 Pa. The Lefant M3 adds mop washing and 12,000 Pa. The Shark's case is its grid pattern, HEPA-sealed bagless base and lack of consumable bags.
Verdict
The Matrix Plus AV2610WA suits carpet-heavy homes with pets and allergies, where a bagless HEPA base and thorough grid passes matter more than an automated mop. If you want the station to wash and dry the mop, the eufy X10 Pro Omni or Lefant M3 do that job. If you can find the AV2613WA more easily, it offers the same core features.
