The Deebot X12 OmniCyclone is for people who want a self-washing roller mop and a full station, but are tired of buying dust bags. Ecovacs pairs a bagless cyclonic self-emptying station with a new trick for sticky floors: FocusJet pre-spray. You mark dirty zones in the app and the robot sprays them to loosen residue before scrubbing. For kitchens, hallways with muddy paws and homes with long hair, it brings several distinctive ideas together.

In its favour

  • Bagless OmniCyclone station uses cyclonic separation, so the listing says no replacement dust bags are needed
  • FocusJet pre-spray loosens dried-on residue in zones you mark in the app before the roller scrubs
  • Auto Carpet Shield lifts the roller mop and separates it from rug fibres when carpet is detected

Good to know

  • The listing does not give runtime or robot height, so check clearance under your sofa and bed before buying
  • Supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only, which can mean adjusting dual-band router settings during setup

Our take

FocusJet and the roller

FocusJet targets sticky spills, paw prints and dried-on kitchen marks by spraying before the roller passes over them. Behind it, the OZMO Roller 3.0 refreshes itself with clean water continuously, which Ecovacs says avoids smearing dirty water and cross-contamination.

When carpet is detected, the roller lifts and a protective shield drops between it and the fibres to keep rugs dry. The listing does not give a lift height in millimetres.

Suction and hair

BLAST combines up to 22,000 Pa of suction with 22 L/s of airflow for carpets and hard floors. ZeroTangle 4.0 guides hair into the airflow path so it does not wrap around the brush, the same generation as on the T90 Pro Omni. The spec table also names TruEdge 3.0 edge cleaning.

Station, charging and navigation

The OmniCyclone station uses cyclonic separation to collect dust without disposable bags. PowerBoost fast charging tops up the battery during station stops, helping in larger homes, though the listing does not give a runtime or robot height. Ecovacs mentions enhanced traction for crossing thresholds, with TruePass 4-wheel climbing in the spec table. AI obstacle avoidance detects common objects such as cables, toys and pet items, and the YIKO assistant offers voice control. Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz only.

X12 against the T90 and T80S

The Ecovacs T90 Pro Omni has more suction at 30,000 Pa and a stated 15 mm lift, but its listing does not describe a bagless station. The T80S Omni gives a known 9.7 cm height. The X12 is the one to choose for pre-spray and an end to dust bags, especially in a home where the kitchen floor sees most of the mess.

Verdict

Choose the X12 OmniCyclone if sticky kitchen floors and long hair are regular problems and you want a bagless station with a self-washing roller. If maximum suction matters more than pre-spray, the Ecovacs T90 Pro Omni is stronger. If you need to know robot height for low furniture, the Ecovacs T80S Omni states it.
