The Deebot N30 Omni Care is the more straightforward end of the Ecovacs OMNI range. It keeps the station that empties dust and washes the mops, adds a long 200 minute battery and quick mapping, and skips the hot water washing of pricier T-series models. It suits large, mostly single-level homes where the job is regular upkeep rather than deep stain removal.

Our take

The OMNI station

The station washes the mops automatically and empties the robot's bin into a 2.6 L dust bag, which Ecovacs rates for up to 75 days. After a clean, the mops are dried with warm air at 104°F, which is about 40°C, to stop smells building up. The baseplate is fully detachable for rinsing, the filter system is rated for up to 150 days without maintenance, and a solid cleaning agent lasts up to 30 days.

The listing does not mention hot water for the mop wash, so if greasy kitchen floors are a big part of your home, that is a gap.

Spinning mops and edge mopping

Although the spec table mentions an OZMO roller, the bullets describe two spinning pads: the OZMO Turbo 2.0 system, driven by a 25,000 rpm motor, turns the pads at 200 rpm with a constant 6 N of scrubbing pressure. Water level can be set in the app to suit the floor. TruEdge uses a hovering arm to push the mop towards edges and corners, and the mop lifts automatically on carpet to avoid cross-contamination.

Mapping and runtime in a large home

TrueMapping 2.0 is listed as mapping 100 square metres in about six minutes, so the first run in a big home is quick. TrueDetect 3D 3.0 handles obstacle avoidance. The spec table gives 200 minutes of battery life, a useful figure for homes well over 100 m², although the listing does not describe recharge and resume or how many floor maps it stores.

Suction is 10,000 Pa, which is modest beside the newer models in this range but adequate for regular cleaning of hard floors and short rugs.

Against the T50 Pro Omni and Lefant M3

The Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni matches the 200 minute battery and adds 15,000 Pa, 75°C hot water washing and an 81 mm slim body. The Lefant M3 runs a stated 220 minutes, holds 90 days of dust and washes with 45°C water. The N30 Omni Care is the simplest of the three, with the most clearly stated mop pressure.

Verdict

Choose the N30 Omni Care for a large home that needs daily vacuuming and light mopping with little effort, and where a 200 minute battery and a 75-day bag matter more than hot water. If you want hot washing and more suction, step up to the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni, and for the longest stated runtime look at the Lefant M3.
