The Deebot T80 Omni is Ecovacs' attempt to bring its flagship roller mop to more households, and the listing frames it as the more affordable route into OZMO Roller cleaning. It suits families who want genuine scrubbing on hard floors, a station that handles maintenance and long runs between charges. The 220 minute runtime, among the longest of the Ecovacs roller models here, is a practical reason to prefer it.

In its favour

  • 220 minute runtime is the longest of the roller-mop models in this guide
  • 10-in-1 station washes the mop at 75°C, dries it at 45°C, empties the bin and refills water
  • Matter compatible, so it can work with Alexa, Google Assistant and other Matter devices

Good to know

  • 18,000 Pa is well below the T90 Pro and X12, which matters more on thick carpet
  • Described as ultra-slim but the exact robot height is not given on the listing

Our take

The OZMO roller and TruEdge

The roller scrubs at 220 RPM with what Ecovacs calls 16 times more pressure and rinses itself in real time, so each pass uses a freshly cleaned surface. TruEdge pushes the roller out to clean along skirting, walls and into corners. The station then washes it with 75°C water, dries it with 45°C air, empties the bin, refills water and re-mops where needed.

Suction and hair

A brushless motor gives 18,000 Pa of suction, aimed at pet hair and embedded debris in rugs and on hard floors. That is below the T80S Omni, X12 and T90 Pro, which matters most on thick carpet.

ZeroTangle 3.0 adds anti-tangle side brushes and a redesigned main brush with a removable comb, making hair easier to clear.

Navigation, lighting and smart home

AIVI 3D 3.0 with embedded LiDAR recognises over 100 objects with 1 mm accuracy, and a new auto-sensing LED headlight improves vision under furniture and in dark corners. Ecovacs calls the design ultra-slim but does not give a height. The T80 Omni is Matter-compatible and works with Alexa and Google Assistant. Battery life is listed at 220 minutes. The spec table lists 110 V, so check the UK version.

T80 against the T80S Omni

The T80S Omni raises suction to 24,800 Pa, adds a Triple Lift System that lifts the roller 1.5 cm on carpet and states a 9.7 cm height, but lists a shorter 200 minute runtime. The T50 Max Pro Omni uses pads with an 18 mm lift. The T80 Omni trades some suction for runtime and the headlight, a sensible balance for bigger homes with mainly hard floors.

Verdict

The T80 Omni suits homes with mostly hard floors and some rugs where long runs and roller scrubbing matter more than peak suction. If you have deeper carpets or want a stated roller lift, the Ecovacs T80S Omni is the better match. If your rugs are thick and you prefer pads, the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Max Pro Omni lifts them higher.
