The Deebot T50 Max Pro Omni is built for mixed homes, where hard floors run into rugs and where pets shed onto both. Its distinguishing feature is an 18 mm auto-lift mop, one of the highest lift figures on any robot covered here, so the wet pads clear most rugs without wetting them. Around that sits a 12-in-1 station that does almost all of the upkeep for you, plus strong suction aimed at carpet.

In its favour

  • 18 mm auto-lift raises the mop as soon as carpet is detected, the highest lift figure in this guide.
  • 12-in-1 station washes mops in hot water, dries them at 45°C and refills water automatically.
  • TruEdge 2.0 extends both side brush and mop along skirting boards, and AIVI 3D 3.0 recognises 100+ objects.

Good to know

  • Water-flow settings are not described in the listing, so check the app options for delicate floors.
  • Matter support is promised via a later OTA update, and the spec lists 110 V: confirm the UK version.

Our take

BLAST airflow and the brush

Ecovacs quotes 18,500 Pa of suction and 34.5 CFM of airflow, branding the combination BLAST and claiming 78% better dust pickup. The point is that airflow, not just pressure, carries debris out of carpet pile. ZeroTangle 2.0 is meant to stop long hair and fur from wrapping around the brush, which cuts down on cutting hair free with scissors.

Mop lift, edges and navigation

When the robot detects carpet it raises its mop by 18 mm, then drops it again on hard floor. TruEdge 2.0 extends both the side brush and the mop towards walls and around furniture to within 15 mm.

Navigation pairs embedded lidar with AIVI 3D 3.0 object recognition, which Ecovacs says identifies more than 100 household items such as cables, with 1 mm precision. The listing does not name pet waste among them.

The 12-in-1 Omni station

The station washes the mops in hot water, dries them with 45°C air, empties the dustbin and refills the water tank. Ecovacs adds that it detects how dirty the mop is and sends the robot back to re-mop areas that need it. Battery life is listed at 200 minutes, and the noise level at 60 dB. Matter support is promised by an over-the-air update rather than at launch, and Alexa and Google Assistant voice control are named. The spec table lists 110 V, so check the UK model before ordering.

Where it fits among Ecovacs models

The slimmer T50 Pro Omni drops to 81 mm tall but has 15,000 Pa and no stated lift. The T80S Omni moves to a self-washing roller mop and 24,800 Pa. The T50 Max Pro is the pad-mop option for homes where rugs and carpet edges are the main worry.

Verdict

Buy the T50 Max Pro Omni if you have rugs on wooden or tiled floors, pets that shed, and want a dock that handles washing, drying and emptying. If you would rather have a roller mop, the Ecovacs T80S Omni is the step across. If low furniture is the priority, the Ecovacs Deebot T50 Pro Omni reaches further under it.
