The Xiaomi X20+ is for people who want the convenience of a full station, with dust emptying and mop washing, without stepping up to flagship suction numbers. It is a mopping-first robot for homes that are mainly hard floor. Its distinguishing points are a 4 L clean water tank in the station, larger than many rivals, and lifting dual pads, all wrapped up in one of the more modest specifications on this site.

In its favour
- Dual pads rotate at 180 RPM with pressure to lift coffee stains and kitchen spills.
- Station auto-cleans the pads, air-dries them and empties dust in about 10 seconds.
- 4 L clean water tank and up to 75 days hands-free, with a UK model number on the listing.
Good to know
- Mop lift height and water-flow settings are not stated in the listing.
- 6,000 Pa is the lowest suction in this guide, so it is better suited to hard floors than carpets.
Our take
Mopping and lifting
Two pads rotate at 180 RPM, and Xiaomi names coffee stains, dirt and spills in living rooms and kitchens as the targets. The title confirms the mop lifts, but the listing does not say by how many millimetres, nor how many water-flow levels there are.
For wood floors that leaves you trusting the default settings, so start with a small area and check how damp the boards are after the first pass.
Suction and obstacle handling
The fan is rated at a maximum of 6,000 Pa, the lowest among the docked mopping robots covered here. Xiaomi pitches it for dust and hair in corners, floor gaps and under furniture. Obstacle avoidance uses an S-Cross wide-area structured light system designed to spot low objects, even in poor light, and the highlight list also mentions LDS navigation. A TÜV Rheinland cybersecurity and privacy certification is noted.
The station and the box
The station collects dust in about 10 seconds per empty, washes the mop pads, holds 4 L of clean water and has a detachable tray for cleaning. Xiaomi quotes up to 75 days of hands-free use and automatic air drying. The box includes the dock, a dust collection bag, mop pads, a water tank, a remote control and the power adapter. Battery life is listed at 140 minutes, and the cleaning path is given as 34 cm.
Where it sits against rivals
The eufy X10 Pro Omni offers more suction at 8,000 Pa and a stated 12 mm lift, plus heated drying. The Roborock Q7 BF is a simpler lidar robot with a compact charger and no washing dock, so the X20+ brings more automation to a lower-spec robot.
Verdict
The X20+ suits flats and houses with mostly hard floors where a washing, emptying station matters more than raw suction. If you have deep carpet or want documented mop lift and water settings, the eufy X10 Pro Omni or Roborock Qrevo 5AE explain themselves better. If you mainly need vacuuming on a budget, the Roborock Q7 BF is simpler.
