The Omni S1 Pro is for people whose homes are mostly hard floor and who care more about the mopping than the vacuuming. Instead of two spinning pads, eufy fits a long roller that is fed clean water as it turns, while dirty water is pulled away into a separate reservoir. The idea is that the part of the mop touching your floor is always freshly rinsed, which is what makes this robot stand out from pad-based rivals.

In its favour

  • The 29 cm roller is refreshed in real time from a dual reservoir, so it is not dragging dirty water across the boards.
  • 1 kg of downward pressure at 170 RPM targets dried-on marks without you scrubbing by hand.
  • Station washes and dries the mop, collects dirty water and doses detergent automatically.

Good to know

  • The listing does not state water-flow levels, which wood owners will want to fine-tune.
  • Eufy advises against mopping up large spills, and gives no suction figure in Pa.

Our take

How the HydroJet roller works

The listing describes an 11.4 inch, or 29 cm, roller spinning at 170 RPM with 1 kg of downward pressure, which eufy compares to scrubbing by hand. A dual water reservoir supplies ozonated water and collects the dirty runoff in real time.

eufy is clear about one limit: it does not recommend using the robot on large amounts of liquid, as that risks damaging it. Spilt drinks should still be mopped up by hand first.

The 10-in-1 station

The UniClean station empties the dust bin into a sealed bag, washes and dries the mop, refills clean water, collects waste water and dispenses detergent. It also generates Eco-Clean Ozone and has touch controls on top. eufy says it charges the robot 20% faster than the previous generation. The box includes a spare roller, an extra dust bag, an extra filter, two sets of side brushes and a bottle of hard floor cleaner.

Shape, navigation and battery

The square body is designed to push right into corners and along edges, where round robots leave a curved strip. Obstacle avoidance comes from 3D MatrixEye, which combines active binocular infrared imaging with an RGB camera to build a live 3D model of objects ahead.

Battery life is listed at 216 minutes, the longest among the eufy models on this site. The robot only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and the listing gives no suction figure in Pa, only a description of strong suction.

Against the other mopping robots

The eufy X10 Pro Omni uses dual spinning pads with a 12 mm lift and states 8,000 Pa, so it is easier to judge on carpet. The Ecovacs T80S Omni also uses a self-washing roller and adds a stated 24,800 Pa. The S1 Pro's case rests on its rinsing roller and its unusually complete station.

Verdict

The Omni S1 Pro is a strong pick for wood, tile and vinyl homes where streak-free mopping and minimal handling come first. If you have a lot of carpet and want hard suction numbers to compare, the Ecovacs T80S Omni gives you both a roller and a stated Pa figure. If you prefer pads with a published mop lift, the eufy X10 Pro Omni is the more conventional choice.
